Fan art and cosplay are awesome ways people show their appreciation for things they like, and I love seeing it.

The very first piece of fan art I ever got was this drawing in 2007
from 12-13 year old Lorelei. How did she know about Pix way back then? Pix
started as a series of mini-comics, and Lorelei read one of those then.
Cate, probably around 9 years old, drew this
awesome rendition of Pix, Cherry, Seth and Reggie.
Ariel was working at The Comic Book Shop in Wilmington, DE when
I was there for a signing, and she drew me this lovely version of Pix.
My friend and fellow cartoonist, Jerzy Drozd, sent me this groovy Pix as a birthday card.
Students at Phillipsburg High School in Phillipsburg, NJ, host an annual comic con at their school. Some of the students did these awesome drawings as a thank you for attending.
Chase, who was maybe 5 years old at most, was doing $1 sketches at the Ann Arbor
Comic Arts Festival (A2CAF), so I gave him a dollar to draw Pix. I think he did a great job.
Sitting next to me at that same A2CAF was Ellie (a former student
of Jerzy Drozd), who drew up this very sharp take on Pix.
These delightful drawings of Pix and Pix as a rabbit
are courtesy of pal and fellow cartoonist Mark Mariano.
This little girl was 7 years old in 2015, when her father sent me this image and said,
“just let you know great work and my daughter had to be Pix for storybook character day at her school.”
